Mykita

Mykita creates eyewear for those who want frames that are light and discreet, yet playful. The design is both elegant and innovative, with a distinctive style and construction.

Based in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, Mykita carries the hallmark of modern German design. The brand was founded in 2003 in a former kindergarten—“Kita” in German. This became the inspiration for the name, and that same curiosity and playfulness is still reflected in their designs.

he Mykita collection is extensive, and here at Briskeby Optikk we carry a wide selection—from small and classic shapes to large, geometric frames. The designs are clean, minimal, and straightforward, but always with that little something extra. Some bestsellers are also available with clip-ons, allowing them to be transformed into sunglasses on sunny days.

The frames are constructed without screws using flat stainless steel. Every pair of glasses is designed and handcrafted at Mykita Haus, the brand’s headquarters in Berlin.
